Anschließend nähere ich mich dem zentralen Thema, dem Zeitbegriff bei Augustinus. Dieser wird von Augustinus in den confessiones abgehandelt. Dementsprechend stütze ich mich bei der Primärliteratur auf das eleven. Buch der confessiones. Bei der Sekundärliteratur habe ich mich auf wenige Werke beschränkt, die mir am sinnvollsten erschienen. Hauptsächlich beschränke ich mich dabei auf das Buch von Friedrich Willhelm von Herrmann „Augustinus und die phänomenologische Frage nach der Zeit“.
